EDK Wolfsbane

HELLO ♥♥♥

My dears, today's polish is wonderful. Wolfsbane is this super pretty purple glitter made by Kelly from Esmaltes da Kelly.
I layered it over Colorama Noite de Gala. Only one coat, and one coat of Seche to make it shinny and fast drying.

Beautiful huh?

China Glaze Electric Pineapple

♥♥♥

LOVE the color, HATE the formula.
Electric Pineapple is such a pretty color. I love this kind of color, so it was no surprise that I felt in love with it when I first saw it.
I decided to use this polish just cause it's summer and also because I'm trying to use my untried polishes.
I had to apply 3 coats of polish cause the formula was so watery, but it was SO worth it.

Isn't it pretty? ♥

Colorama Noite De Gala

♥♥♥

I'm in love. It's as simple as that. Noite De Gala is one of the prettiest cremes I've ever seen. It's this super deep dark purple. Application was freaking amazing and the drying time? OMG. 5 Minutes I finished applying the second coat my nails were dry, COMPLETELY DRY. Imagine my surprise when I realized it was dry after only 5 minutes!

All the pictures are WITHOUT top coat. All the shinny is from the polish :)

Fake Floam

♥♥♥

Today I'll be showing you a fake Floam. Ok, not really a fake Floam, but a dupe. A Brazilian indie maker decided to make a Floam for the Brazilian girls who can't get Floam. I think it was a nice idea since I can't get it either. But I will, VERY SOON! Anyway. The brand is called Penélope Luz, and she has some of the prettiest polishes I've seen, but I couldn't get my hands on many of them. The polish is called Confetti and it might has the colors of Floam and look like Floam, but it isn't. Floam is much more opaque.
For my base color I used Illamasqua Noble, two coats, and then two coats of Confetti. Plus one coat of Seche to make it shinny.

As you can see this Floam dupe is seriously pretty :D

Pure Ice by Sheila

Hello dears ♥

Today the lovely Sheila, from Pointless Cafe is my guest post, and she has an amazing polish to show you guys :)

Hello everyone! When Juliana asked me to guest post on her blog, I was more than happy to oblige.  I thought I’d show you a Pure Ice polish today: Girls Best Friend. Pure Ice polishes are very inexpensive and generally have fantastic formulas.

Girls Best Friend is a red bordeaux jelly polish with holo microglitter and went on great. 2 – 3 coats for full opacity. Two coats should do the trick on short nails and probably 3 coats for longer nails. I’ve used two coats here with NO top coat. I wore it alone for a while and then stamped over it to extend the mani using Milani Flash Silver.

Pure Ice polishes are available in the states at Walmart stores and retail for $1.97 but they can also be ordered online at baricosmetics.com.

Thanks to Juliana for having me! It’s my first visit to Rio! Just wish it had been in person.

Cute Gradient by Cas

Hello ♥♥♥

Today's guest post is by one of my dearest friends, the lovely Casandra. I love her to death ♥

Hello readers! I am so VERY excited to show off one of the manis that I am most proud of, on my bestie's blog today!
I'm not the greatest (for lack of experience) at doing gradients, until this one I had only ever attempted 1 or 2 tops. I decided to go with a nice soft two-toned color choice and use at least one untried, nice cute colors for Valentine's Day coming up seemed perfect.
I chose Zoya Cassi (if only it had an E on the end, it'd be my nickname!), a nice shimmery soft peachy pink, and OPI Skull & Glossbones, a smooth glossy almost white grey. They blended great together and made my best gradient yet! Their application is fantastic and even though I seem to have the worst luck with formula and application on the Zoyas I own, this one didn't really give me a problem.
For the gradient I chose the sponging method, by dripping the two colors next to each other on a pallet and swirling the center colors to mix them slightly, then dabbed the sponge on there and applied softly to my already base colored nail (I chose the pink Zoya Cassi as my base color since it is a thin few coater polish).
(add pictures here starting with the base color pics of zoya cassi, then the rest of the ones of the gradient).

Thank you again for letting me guest post today Juliana!
take care, Casandra

I loved the gradient Cas did, I just can't work with a light color for gradients. Hope you all did too :)

Green Shimmer

Hello ♥♥♥

I'm traveling so I decided to do a lot of manis the last few days so I could have enough posts for you guys :)
I had some guest posts, but not enough, so here we go.
I used Revlon Emerald on one of the days of the challenge, and when I had that mani done I added some sparkle to it, I layered Pure Ice HeartBreaker over it, and damn it looked AMAZING!

Heart Breaker looks pretty amazing over Emerald, I truly loved it, hope you guys did too!
