50 Shades Of Grey ♥♥♥

♥♥♥

Fifty Shades Of Grey has become my favorite book trilogy, really.
Took me two years to finally read it, I've had the first book since late 2011, but I didn't read it until a week ago. The reason? Because people have labeled it as an erotic book, but FSG doesn't have more sex scenes than any other book I've ever read. The difference between those other books and FSG is that FSG has s&m sex, not just the regular vanilla sex. and there's a reason for that. My point is, the book is a 'romance', and trust me, you'll fall in love with Christian & Ana, it's impossible not to. I read all three books in three days, one per day. So really, just go read it.

Finally to my nails; because I mixed some polishes to create the two different shades of gray I didn't make a post FAQ. I already knew I was gonna make the clouds, but for some weird reason I chose to add some sparkle to it. And I loved it.

I think the reason I chose gray is quite obvious, right?!
If you have read the books, let me know, I would really love to have some more people to talk to about it, I don't have more than 2 friends that have read it!!

Sparkly Glitter! ♥

♥♥♥

Before I get to my nails, I've ran into some trouble with my camera USB cable, I broke it... I bought a new one yesterday and it has been shipped already, but God knows when it will get here, and the memory card thingy to put on the PC broke, I have no idea how, but I just can't put my memory card on the damn thing. I have to put the card on my old phone, connect to the computer so I can get the pictures... It's annoying, but I'm making it work, for now.
To my nails. I was decided to wear my Barry M Green Glitter. I bought it ages ago, but have never used it before cause I didn't have the right base color, but a while ago I bought Revlon Emerald.
Emerald has great formula, and it's VERY pigmented, so one thin coat was more than enough. Layered Green Glitter over it, and applied two coats of seche vite. It's a bit gritty, to be 100% smooth it's necessary 2 coats.

This is such a pretty glitter! ♥

Nubar Purple Rain Glitter ♥♥

♥♥♥

It was IMPOSSIBLE to photograph this beauty! I tried very hard, but just couldn't...
Purple Rain Glitter is a gorgeous purple glitter, with some holo purple glitter in it. Pigmentation was great, two coats were enough, formula was also fantastic. For my surprise one coat os Seche Vite made it completely smooth.

With flash!!

This is what I see in my nails, but I CAN'T capture the damn thing :S

China Glaze Electrify ♥

♥♥♥

How is everyone doing? I'm exhausted!!!! I spent 4 hours baking cupcakes today, I only made 24 and took me 4 hours... I made to different icings, or whatever you call it, one was marshmallows and the other one was coconut buttercream. The marshmallow one was a DISASTER, it was way too thin, I put it over the cupcakes anyway, and covered the marshmallow with chocolate, then I put it on the fridge, it's great now, but the coconut one is my fav.

To my nails. This morning I decided I want a sparkly glitter on my nails. I picked Electrify. I was SUPER scared to wear it, which is way it took me this long to finally wear it. I thought I would have to layer it over something, but turns out two coats were enough.
This polish is SO beautiful, and SO sparkly! ♥

You can still see some nail, but only in the pictures, in person you can't.

I Spot A Peacock..

♥♥♥

... On my nails! Because my stash has grown so much I had to start putting my polishes on the helmer that was not supposed to be used for nail polish. I hadn't organized the second helmer until last night, and I was decided to wear EDK Peacock Feathers, but what was I gonna do with my nails? Since I got my Seche Vite yesterday the amount of things I can do with my nails are endless! I decided to do a super simple skittlette with two other polishes. Impala released a collection a while ago called Disco, and it has some incredible polishes, and I really like that collection, I picked two, a nude polish and a petroleum green, which goes great with the glitter on Peacock Feathers.
Impala Azul Petróleo is a jelly and it stains, so I applied one coat of Colorama Espuma, a jelly that's supposed to be used for jelly sandwiches, before I started applying Azul Pavão.

I absolutely LOVE the way this skittlette turned out!

I See A Falling Star...

♥♥♥

Hello! Sorry for the lack of posts, but I've been going out a lot lately, not partying or anything, during the day. I've been spending a lot of hours walking with Nahla, yesterday we had a three hours walk, when I met this lovely girl, Myriam, she's Spanish and only one year older than me. She is alone cause her friends left and she won't leave until tomorrow night. After I dropped Nahla home we went for a looong walk, and I stayed out for another 3 hours, didn't get back until 5PM. I've been having a lot of fun hanging out with her, and today we went to the Botanical Garden. We got there at around 9:30AM and didn't leave until 3PM. We walked a lot, saw a LOT of beautiful trees, plants and some little lakes. We had lunch and finally headed home. We stop by my apartment and grabbed Nahla so we could finally go for a walk with her, since I didn't have the time to do it in the morning. Didn't get home until 6PM I think, maybe a little over that.
Tomorrow we're going out again, don't know what we're doing, but we're doing something lol
Here are some pictures I took today. Nahla absolutely LOVED Myriam!

Finally to my nails. This afternoon I had China Glaze Cowgirl Up, but it wasn't very well done. A few moments ago I was looking through mys stash, as usual, and looked at Falling Star from Barielle. I felt in love with a picture I saw on tumblr, but it looks so different in person. I was actually a bit disappointed, which is why I haven't swatched it before. I decided to give it a try, and I do like it, but I don't love it. Formula was good, a bit tricky but nothing to worry about.
Not color accurate, AT ALL! FS is a dusty darkish blue/purple. I LOVE the copper glitter in it, and it's actually what attracted me the most, the combo between copper and blue was very appealing to me. The copper glitters are a bit hungry, and because  I'm out of Seche two coats of a super thin brazilian top coat was needed.
