Failed Tribal Print

♥♥♥

Yep, epic fail!
It's been quite hot in Rio lately, and summer time has finally begun, which I hate btw, looong days. Not to mention it's so damn hot I can't even stand going for walks with Nahla during the day, I take her to the park in the mornings, she runs for 3 hours and then we walk for 3 miles and some more.

Revlon Lunar ♥

♥♥♥

I know, I know, I've been MIA, but I have a good reason!! My mom's friend stayed with us for a week, last week, and she was using my iPad, and like I've already explained that I need to use the iPad to transfer the pictures to my computer.
To my nails. I told you on the FB page that my index nail broke, and you should get ready to see a lot of Monsters University band aids, BUT it looked awful with it, so I took pictures of 3 nails only :)
Anyway, I wore Revlon Lunar for about 4 days, and I LOVE it! Lunar is so damn dark it looks black, but it's not, it's a super dark petroleum blue. Formula was perfection, no joke. It applied like butter, but like every dark polish you must be careful applying it. It's also a bit watery, but perfection at the same time. The watery part only shows when you let it get to your cuticles, it'll look for more, trust me. Other than that you have a perfect color with the greatest formula.

Taken with flash.

You might want this to use as a black polish, formula is actually much better than Revlon's Black Lingerie. I could have gotten away with one coat, but in some nails I used way too little polish and it was too thin... But really, I'm amazed by it's formula!

Sparkly Glitter! ♥

♥♥♥

Before I get to my nails, I've ran into some trouble with my camera USB cable, I broke it... I bought a new one yesterday and it has been shipped already, but God knows when it will get here, and the memory card thingy to put on the PC broke, I have no idea how, but I just can't put my memory card on the damn thing. I have to put the card on my old phone, connect to the computer so I can get the pictures... It's annoying, but I'm making it work, for now.
To my nails. I was decided to wear my Barry M Green Glitter. I bought it ages ago, but have never used it before cause I didn't have the right base color, but a while ago I bought Revlon Emerald.
Emerald has great formula, and it's VERY pigmented, so one thin coat was more than enough. Layered Green Glitter over it, and applied two coats of seche vite. It's a bit gritty, to be 100% smooth it's necessary 2 coats.

This is such a pretty glitter! ♥

Revlon Classy ♥

♥♥♥

I have another quick post for you today. I woke up a couple of hours ago, and I just needed to change my polish, I already had SG on for 4 days.. I looked through my stash, and picked Classy right away. For some reason I haven't worn it before, and I don't know why!!! This polish is great, the formula was fantastic, pigmentation was also fabulous. I was surprised to find out that I could have gotten away with only 1 coat, but decided to go with two anyways.

I promise you this is color accurate, that's exactly how I see it. I've seen a LOT of pictures online, but all the pictures are so pale, the color is not nearly as pretty on the online pictures as it is in person.

Nail Arts I Didn't Took Pictures Of

♥♥

How is everyone doing? :)
These two nail arts I did I didn't take pictures of. The minions one looked INCREDIBLE, but I had to walk with Nahla, so I just took it off minutes after I finished because I was gonna smudge it anyway.
The Stormtroopers one I didn't take pictures because there were way too many bubbles, and it was way too crooked.
These pictures were took from my iPhone 5.

Tic-Tac-Toe And Hearts Nail Art

♥♥

How is everyone doing? I'm EXHAUSTED! I walk with Nahla 3 times a day, for a minimum of 2 hours each time. But I found some time last night to make some easy and cute looking nail art.
I found this pictures and I felt in love.

And this is Andrea's blog. There's a video showing you how you can make the tic-tac-toe :)

I mixed a few polishes to achieve the tone of pink I wanted, and you can see which ones in the FAQ section.

I got a smudge after I bumped into a doorlnob :/
Looks much better in person I promise you!!

NOTD: Green Owl Nail Art ♥

Hey ♥♥

Sorry for the lack of posts, but I'm in exam week, so I've been very busy. But today was the last day, so I had some time off, after I got back from my LONG, LONG walk with my Nahla.
And here's a quick picture of her in her walk today. I usually take her to Arpoador Beach, and today I decided to go to the rock with her, we call it Pedra Do Arpoador, and the view is great.

The picture is not very good, she can't stay still for too long! :)

Back to my NOTD. I'm gonna start saying I'm very proud of this nail art. My pictures are a bit too good for my taste on this one. When you look at it at naked eye, you can't see any bubbles, but look at my pictures and you see a billion bubbles, but that's just the top coat's fault. I used Sally Hansen InstaDry, and it doesn't work very well with me, I don't know why :(
I'm using Revlon Post Trauma Nail Treatment base Coat, the reason I'm telling you this is because I did my owl over two coats of it, no other polish. My other nails are painted with Andreia number 3, no name. Andreia is a Portuguese brand, and I got it from a swap.In my owl I used Revlon Posh, Andreia 3, and for the eye and it's little nose I had to mix a few polishes.
I googled "Owl NailArt" to see a few of those and find one to make it myself, an easy one. I got the idea from this post here. The blog's owner is Cristina, and the blog's name is Let Them Have Polish!, and her blog is freaking amazing, I'm completely in love with it.
Anyway, for the ails I used the Andreia, I used 2 coats, the first one was a bit tricky, but the second one made it all better.

This is an iPhone 5 picture, not very good, but it's basically how I see it.

I really am very proud of it, and because it took me over an hour to make this, which I was very careful when doing it, cause I really wanted it to look great, I plan to keep it on for a few days, but I do have a post already planned, which I did a little while ago. But because I was so busy I was always forgetting.
