Skittlette Nails ♥

Hey lovelies ♥

Today's nails are quite fun. I just recently started following ChitChatNails, and let me tell you, the woman is amazing! She does this incredible manis that she calls Skittlette. And it's addicting. Once you start doing it it's hard to stop. Marta has a tutorial in her page showing you how to do it, here's the link, She also posted a 'second part' post on the how to that was done by SoNailicious, here's the link to her post.
I'm leaving here a picture taken from her blog, with her permission. You can see how amazing she is.

This is the picture that made me fall in love with skittlette manis.
Now back to my nails. In my index finger I have Revlon Cloud, the next two is China Glaze Ahoy (♥) and on my pinkie I have Icing Urban Affair. I stamped over Ahoy with Konad m57.

This was my first one, so be nice. I'm no expert, that's for sure.

Revlon Rich Raspberry

Hey there ♥

Rich Raspberry, as the name says, has a berry color. Very pretty I must say.
The color is dark, but in the sun it's very bright, which I love.
I applied two coats of RB and one of Seche Vite.

Taken in the sun.

Rainbow Stripes

Hey there ♥

Today's post is one big failure. I tried to copy a mani I saw on Tumblr, and as you can imagine, it didn't go as planned.
I used two coats of Illamasqua Scorch for my base in all my nails, then I put the striping tapes on all my nails and painted with the colors I needed. I had one accent nail in both hands, my ring finger. For the rainbow I used six polishes:
Colorama Gabriele
Illamasqua Gamma
Jordana Mellow Yellow
Revlon Posh
Illamasqua Noble
Colorama Noite De Gala
For the black polish I used Fantasy Makers Black Pearl.

As you can see huge failure. Despite the outcome I like the idea, and I'll probably try again someday.

Revlon Beguile

Hello my dears ♥

Today's polish is from Revlon. I bought it at a Walmart in Orlando. I just searched it on Bing and I couldn't find swatches of it, so I hope I did a good job :)
Beguile is such a pretty polish, it's a black based polish with this blue shimmer going on. It's very hard to describe this polish.
I used two coats of it and one coat of Seche to dry faster. I'm sorry for the bubbles, the first time I used it I didn't have any problems with it, but I was in Orlando and it was cold, but it's freaking hot here in Rio, so bubbles are a common thing.

It's a VERY pretty polish, don't you think?

Green Shimmer

Hello ♥♥♥

I'm traveling so I decided to do a lot of manis the last few days so I could have enough posts for you guys :)
I had some guest posts, but not enough, so here we go.
I used Revlon Emerald on one of the days of the challenge, and when I had that mani done I added some sparkle to it, I layered Pure Ice HeartBreaker over it, and damn it looked AMAZING!

Heart Breaker looks pretty amazing over Emerald, I truly loved it, hope you guys did too!

New 31 DC - Day 18 - My Oldest Untried

HELLO ♥♥

Today's post was MUCH harder than I though it would be. Turns out I don't have as many untried polishes as I thought I did. Debbie gave me an idea: use your oldest polish, not only untried, but old. I guess this is my oldest one :)
Revlon Emerald is AMAZING, I don't know why took me SO long to wear it, but it's fantastic.
The formula was freaking amazing and I could have used only ONE coat. But as usual I went for two.

Like I said, this polish is amazing, I was impressed :D

Heart - Nail Art

Hello my lovelies ♥

I had this mani done a few days ago, and I really loved it, but I had to take it off so I could start the challenge. I was really enjoying it, and it was super easy to make :)
I used Essie Smooth Sailing for the base color, Revlon Black Lingerie, Essie Leading Lady and Illamasqua Scorch. Then I used a really thin coat of Seche to smooth it.

Thankfully I'm ahead of the challenge, so I can post this in here today :)
Love,
