Illamasqua Force ♥

Hello ♥

Illamasqua Force is one of my favorite polishes, and because my bottle was almost over I bought a new one.
Illamasqua describes it as a periwinkle blue, and it really is. But when I apply Seche Vite it turns on a dark Blue, kind of purple.
I applied two coat, but one would have been just fine, followed by one coat of Seche Vite.

Blue Gradient And Glitter

Hello ♥

Today I have an AWESOME manicure to show you guys. I've done a lot of gradients, but they never tunr out as well as I expect, but not this one. I decided to google for gradient tutorials, and I found a great one on youtube, here's the link.
It was SO useful, I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I did a big mess, as usual, but I got a great result.
I used Illamasqua Caress, Illamasqua Noble and Kiko 385.
Looking at my nails I thought WOW, did I really do this?! But looking at the pictures, I wasn't so happy. The pictures showed the bubbles from the topcoat, and the imperfections, but just looking at it you couldn't tell. So I decided to layer a good glitter to hide those nasty bubbles and imperfections, and it worked.
The glitter I used is Adriane Galisteu Me Ama.

Can you see how well the colors blended together?

I'm in love, that's for sure.

Illamasqua Raindrops

Hey there ♥

Yes, you read it right, today I'm showing you Raindrops, and I couldn't be more excited *o*
I've been wanting it for such a long time, and when it was re-released I bought it, but because royal mail has become a royal pain it took a little over 2 months to get here...
Anyway, Raindrops is perfect. I love it. And I'm sure you all do as well... But I couldn't capture it very well, I'm sorry :/
Layered one coat of Raindrops over one coat of Revlon Hazy.

Illamasqua Noble

Hello lovelies ♥

Sorry I've been so absent lately, but I'm back to school, and things have been a little crazy lately.
Illamasqua Noble is one of the best blue cream polishes I've ever worn. Noble has this sky blue color, that it's impossible not to love.
If you apply it VERY carefully you can easily get away with only one coat, but as you can imagine, I've used two, and one of Seche.

Perfect color, you all must agree with me.

Rainbow Stripes

Today's post is one big failure. I tried to copy a mani I saw on Tumblr, and as you can imagine, it didn't go as planned.
I used two coats of Illamasqua Scorch for my base in all my nails, then I put the striping tapes on all my nails and painted with the colors I needed. I had one accent nail in both hands, my ring finger. For the rainbow I used six polishes:
Colorama Gabriele
Illamasqua Gamma
Jordana Mellow Yellow
Revlon Posh
Illamasqua Noble
Colorama Noite De Gala
For the black polish I used Fantasy Makers Black Pearl.

As you can see huge failure. Despite the outcome I like the idea, and I'll probably try again someday.

Illamasqua Stance

I've been trying to make this post for SO long, but every time I've worn this polish and tried to take pictures of it I failed. My old camera just couldn't capture the actual color.
Yesterday I was looking through my stash to pick a polish to wear and I saw Stance. I thought I should put it on, since I have a new camera. I had to poke around my camera to see if I could find a way to capture the true color, AND I DID. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was able to take pictures and get the actual color of the polish.
Back to the polish, Stance is a purple based pink polish, some might say it's a cream, but it's a jelly, and I think you can see it clearly in my pictures. Two coats as usual and one coat of Seche.

  

This is a wonderful polish, and the color is so pretty. Illamasqua became my favorite polish brand and I haven't hidden my love for it. What's your favorite Illamasqua polish?

New 31 DC - Day 15 - Watercolor

Today's post is a BIG failure. I tried, I really tried, but it went terrible....
Illamasqua Scorch for the base coat, Illamasqua Nomad, Rampage and Elope for the watercolor details.
Plus one coat of Seche Vite.

Like I said, failure.

New 31 DC - Day 9 - Saran Wrap

I'm cheating on this one, sorry about that. I didn't think I would be able to recreate a saran wrap mani, so I decided to cheat a bit, but I promise this will be the only one ♥
I used Illamasqua Nomad for the base color and A England Saint George.

I know I posted this one already, but I hope you have enjoyed it anyway.
