Skittlette Nails ♥

Hey lovelies ♥

Today's nails are quite fun. I just recently started following ChitChatNails, and let me tell you, the woman is amazing! She does this incredible manis that she calls Skittlette. And it's addicting. Once you start doing it it's hard to stop. Marta has a tutorial in her page showing you how to do it, here's the link, She also posted a 'second part' post on the how to that was done by SoNailicious, here's the link to her post.
I'm leaving here a picture taken from her blog, with her permission. You can see how amazing she is.

This is the picture that made me fall in love with skittlette manis.
Now back to my nails. In my index finger I have Revlon Cloud, the next two is China Glaze Ahoy (♥) and on my pinkie I have Icing Urban Affair. I stamped over Ahoy with Konad m57.

This was my first one, so be nice. I'm no expert, that's for sure.

Nyx Emerald Forest ♥

Hey loves ♥

Emerald Forest is such a pretty glitter.
It's green, and has golden glitters as well.
When you first apply it you think: "FUCK! I need to layer it over a green!!" ; but then I decided to give it a shot, and I just happened to find out that the second coat looked MUCH better. It would be enough actually, nut I decided to put a third one. For my surprise it wasn't glitter hungry, one thin coat of Seche made it completely smooth.

It's great, right?

Risquè Viúva Negra

Hello ♥

Today I'll show you an incredible polish. I've posted it before, but like I've said before, my posts from back then were awful.
Risquè Viúva Negra is a black base polish with red glitter. In person it shines a lot more than what I was able to capture. I love the way this one looks, the black base with the red glitter makes it a great combo.
I applied one coat of VN over one coat of Risquè Preto Sépia, my go to black polish, followed by one coat of  Seche Vite.

I love it ♥

Royal Blue Glitter Combo

Hello ♥

As promised, I'm here to post the glitter combo I made with Risquè Azul Hortênsia.
The glitter I used was Impala Azul Cristalino, a gorgeous blue glitter. The glitter itself is quite thin, and lays flat on the nails, so one coat of Seche Vite is more than enough to make it completely smooth.
I applied one coat of AC over AH.

I LOVED the way it looked, it was VERY sparkly, and so damn beautiful.

Blue Gradient And Glitter

Hello ♥

Today I have an AWESOME manicure to show you guys. I've done a lot of gradients, but they never tunr out as well as I expect, but not this one. I decided to google for gradient tutorials, and I found a great one on youtube, here's the link.
It was SO useful, I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I did a big mess, as usual, but I got a great result.
I used Illamasqua Caress, Illamasqua Noble and Kiko 385.
Looking at my nails I thought WOW, did I really do this?! But looking at the pictures, I wasn't so happy. The pictures showed the bubbles from the topcoat, and the imperfections, but just looking at it you couldn't tell. So I decided to layer a good glitter to hide those nasty bubbles and imperfections, and it worked.
The glitter I used is Adriane Galisteu Me Ama.

Can you see how well the colors blended together?

I'm in love, that's for sure.

Blue/Purple Glitter Combo

Hello lovelies ♥

I have a pretty combo to show to you today. I was going through my stash decided I wanted to use glitter, so I grabbed one of the Icing polishes I bought during my trip, Bedazzled.
Bedazzled has fine blue and purple glitter in a clear base. I decided to put it over Nails Inc Baker Street, and it was a great choice.
Two coat of Nails Inc and one coat of Icing.

Hope you have enjoyed this combo :)
Love,
